Comparison

Updated: Nov 18, 2020

Comparison kills creativity. There is room for you. Nobody can do it with your voice, with your experience, with your insight. Karen Walrond.

TRAUMA Comparison is “trauma” to your IDENTITY. When you participate in it, YOU lose a sense of your value and uniqueness and then reduce it because of others. You might even “reduce” them with your words, so you don’t feel so distant.

KNOW You need to know who you are. You need to know what you bring to the table. You need to be willing to develop the areas you need to grow and position yourself SECURELY in your greatness. When you don’t, comparison will be easy to entertain and you have limited recourse.

STAND Do the IDENTITY work. Remove the cycles and RESTORE a healthy perspective of yourself. Then you can sincerely admire the greatness you see in others without reducing yourself and them.
